Megan immediately knew she wanted to do the engagement session at Peaks of Otter near Sharp Top Mountain. If you love scenic mountains, then you will LOVE this engagement session. This location is now one of my favorites for my Roanoke, Virginia brides. There’s just something about a mountain backdrop that is breathtaking. So glad Megan suggested this location!

You can’t tell from their photos but it was FREEZING. Megan is literally a superstar for wearing a dress for the first half of our session! By the end, I could barely move my fingers. It was such an unexpectedly cold day! Megan and Josh are amazing for braving the cold and they knew how to WORK the camera. Enjoy some of my favorites from their engagement session! Megan and Josh have the CUTEST proposal story. They were at a bonfire with a couple friends in October of 2017. During a group photo, Megan turned around and Josh was down on one knee with two PUMPKINS that said, “marry me”. How stinking cute? Megan and Josh brought these pumpkins to the session with the date of their wedding. I love it when my couples bring personal touches to their session! Can’t wait for their wedding in Roanoke, Virginia this summer.
