I can’t think of a better way to kick off my 2019 wedding season! It may have been a little bit misty and no sun in sight in Roanoke, Virginia, but it was 10 degrees warmer and no downpour like expected. Kelsie, Brandon, and I found humor in the weather because it was the exact same weather as their engagement session back in July! The weather must have been MEANT to be…
Kelsie and Brandon thank you for welcoming me with open arms to be with you throughout this entire process. It was an honor to be a part of this memorable day and to capture those you LOVE most. The bridal suite was literally full of bridesmaids, the most adorable flower-girl, and family members watching and helping Kelsie get ready for the first day. Everyone was in high spirits and so excited to celebrate Brandon and Kelsie!
There has yet to be a wedding where I don’t tear up. This wedding was most DEFINITELY a tear-jerker. The first look with the Keslie and her dad, Kelsie’s dad’s toast, and all the first dances gave me a huge lump in my throat and brought tears to my eyes.
Keep your eye out for Kelsie’s ring! Brandon designed it and her engagement ring is now surrounded by her wedding band. It’s so unique!!
I had so much fun with this group of amazing girls! One of my many favorite parts of wedding days is hanging out in the bridal suite with everyone.
Brandon’s Mom helping pin on his boutonniere. What a sweet moment…
Father-daughter first looks are always an emotional memory to capture!!
Kelsie’s Dad surprised Brandon with a watch that has been passed down through the family!
The mist made the portraits extra romantic!
A huge shoutout to Kelsie, Brandon, and the bridal party for braving the cold!!! They make look like they are warm but it was freezing cold outside.
The first dances!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Kelsie and Brandon, you two are so sweet! Glad we were able to snag a photo together!
A big thank you to the vendor’s that made Kelsie and Brandon’s day special!
