A wedding at the Country Club of Virginia wedding is always such a classy event. My favorite touch from this day was Jess and Anna’s vintage cake topper that was a family heirloom. Gentle wind transformed this celebration into something truly ethereal and added a truly magical element to the photos. Lane Stewart Events curated a seamless day, allowing the couple to really soak up each moment.
There’s nothing quite like wind to make everything feel even more cinematic. I find that wind is the hardest element to photograph in– but the most joyful when a couple can lean into the element it adds. Jess and Anna’s day was overall an elegant affair. Beautiful traditional centerpieces by Janet Minock that complimented the Country Club of Virginia’s ballroom.
This was the first reception I’ve seen where everyone had personal tambourines. It may have been my favorite reception prop of the year! Even grandma and grandpa enjoyed some songs on the dance floor.
A collection of my favorite digital and film frames from Jess and Anna’s wedding at The Country Club of Virginia, in Richmond…
