Shelley’s portraits at Castle Hill Cidery in Keswick, VA are some of my favorites!!! Fall is by far the most popular time for high school senior portrait sessions and I’m super grateful we found time for Shelley’s senior portraits. After having to reschedule once already because of a Hurricane and having a last minute location change, I’m glad that everything worked out in the end. It was meant to be! Her Friday afternoon session had the best weather and Fall colors were that perfect balance of orange and greens.

Shelley and her mom drove up from Southwest Virginia to meet me near Charlottesville. I’m so thankful that they made the drive to meet me in Central Virginia. Shelley is extremely sweet, talented, and we immediately clicked which made her senior session a total breeze. I loved that she brought her guitar to personalize her session! I kept joking that these photos looked like they could be on the cover of an album (maybe one day they will be!!).

Photographing high school senior portraits never fails to put a smile on my face. It’s so great meeting many awesome ladies and capturing them in this exciting season of life!

Castle Hill Cider is a wedding venue in Central Virginia near Charlottesville. The views never fail to be stunning! This location is one of my favorites. Castle Hill also has some of the best cider!
