It’s no surprise that Mallory and Zack’s Lincoln Memorial engagement photos are a favorite of mine. Their sunrise session was well worth the early wakeup call. If you live near Washington DC, the iconic Lincoln Memorial may be where you’re wanting to do your engagement session. My tip for you is to do your session at sunrise to avoid the crowds.

Even though it was a cloudy morning with no sunrise, Mallory and Zack’s Lincoln Memorial engagement photos turned out so beautiful. Many people assume sun is best for photos and while golden hour is beautiful, clouds also create soft evenly lit photos!

I’ve been so excited to meet Mallory and Zack. From when we first hopped on a FaceTime call to discuss their wedding, I knew we’d be a great fit. I loved Mallory and Zack’s elegant vision and kind-hearted personalities. After trying to find a date that works around Mallory’s busy nurse schedule and rescheduling for rain, it all worked out and we finally had their engagement session.
