Nestled in the heart of Lexington, Virginia, Maggie & Jake’s elegant wedding unfolded at Big Spring Farm. With alfresco dining and a lively band to set the tone, this wedding was nothing short of a luxurious celebration. Sharing a glimpse of this dreamy soirée!

The day started off in the new bridal suite at The Little Silver Cottage located just minutes down the road from Big Spring Farm. We met Jake near the lake where Maggie and Jake shared a heartfelt private first look. Afterwards, the day flowed to capturing the traditional bride and groom portraits and finishing all the wedding party and family portraits before the ceremony.

I was really excited I received Maggie email saying they wanted to complete most of the traditional photos before the ceremony so they could fully enjoy cocktail hour. This made for a relaxed evening after the ceremony. Besides whisking them away for 10 minutes during golden hour, the rest of the day I followed around capturing candids.
