Love meets the luxurious golden hour light during Christine and Troy’s Virginia Beach engagement session! Painted in orange hues, we walked around First Landing State Park, the perfect scene for a coastal inspired engagement session. In the many years of being a photographer, I’ve never experienced such a beautiful golden hour. By the end of their session, the sun painted the sky in shades of pink and gold.

It’s been almost a year since this engagement session and I’m still dreaming about this enchanting evening! Troy and Christine are gems. When Christine came to me looking for a wedding photographer, she said that “time is valuable” and it was important to them to find a photographer that hand-crafted a photography timeline that kept the day moving. They were hoping for effortless experience in front of the camera with a big emphasis on “we want to be with our family and friends”. Oh my I love this dearly.

Troy and Christine are naturals in front of the camera. We strolled along the sandy shores of Virginia Beach. I just love warmth of the sun playing off the water, it added an extra layer of romance to their timeless engagement photos.
