Reliving Savannah and Christophe’s remarkable Fall wedding outside of Richmond, Virginia. Their love story began in separate states. As their love grew, they navigated the challenges of a long-distance relationship. Their Fall wedding was a testament to this enduring love and being able to stick through anything together. I was honored to be part of their special day.
Looking back to October 15th, 2022, there are three vivid memories etched into my mind from Savannah and Christophe’s exquisite Richmond wedding. Firstly, the undeniable excitement and butterflies that coursed through Savannah and her bridesmaids as they prepared for the first look. The anticipation in that bridal suite was electrifying; it was more than just Savannah’s joy, it was the happiness shared by her sister, her Mom, and everyone present.
As a photographer, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing many heartwarming moments, but this one was extra special to me as my grandparents are a special part of me. Before her first look with Christophe, Savannah shared a first look with her grandparents. Looking back at these photos had me in instant tears.
Lastly, and perhaps most significantly, what resonates with me when I think about their day is the overwhelming atmosphere of gratitude and compassion. Both Christophe and Savannah were enthusiastic in their expressions of thankfulness for having each other. Their families, too, crafted heartfelt toasts that revolved around this central theme of gratitude. A strong foundation for a beautiful marriage. As you look at some of their photos, I hope that you can see and feel the exceptional love and joy that surrounded their day.
Happy One Year Anniversary, Savannah and Christophe! Here’s to many more years of exceptional love and joy!
