Brittany and Nathan like to be outdoors hiking and hunting! When planning for their engagement session, Brittany had it all planned out perfectly! She wanted to do it somewhere special. For them this meant out in the mountains (YAY)!!! Nathan proposed to Brittany while on a hike in front of a beautiful waterfall! I was ecstatic when she mentioned doing this little hike to the top of a mountain with a 360-degree view of mountains… Oh. My. I’ve always wanted be in the Blue Ridge Mountains for engagement photos!

A week before their engagement session, Brittany drove to the two locations we went to and timed it all. Y’all, she has it together!!! I was so impressed. The first part of their session we went to a field off of Skyline Drive. Brittany and Nathan are naturals in front of the camera!

Next, we drove right down the road to Bearfence Mountain. The hike wasn’t horrible but there were parts that felt a little like rock climbing! Nathan would have to give Brittany their change of the clothes, climb over a rock, and then Brittany would hand their clothes to them. I was a sweaty mess when we got to the top and somehow Brittany and Nathan still looked flawless haha. The hike was 110% worth it and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

The Blue Ridge Mountains were showing off for their engagement photos. You will see what I mean… it was BREATHTAKING. Their whole session felt like a dream! I cannot wait for their wedding in 2020!
