Heritage Park Engagement Session
These two live over 6,000 miles away… Yep! That’s right! There wedding is a week away and we squeezed in their engagement sessions. They flew in from Japan, not too long ago! How cool is that?! Some of there guests will even be flying in from Japan just for the weekend. I can’t wait to meet everyone! Before we drove to Heritage Park for their engagement session, we did a quick tour of their wedding venue- German Club Manor. Look how pretty it is! In 7 days, they will be standing here in their wedding attire (HOW EXCITING)!!!
After going through the timeline of their wedding day, we drove to Heritage Park. I had scoped out the location prior and fell in love with fields. I was secretly hoping Elsa and Carl would be okay with taking some pictures in them. As you can imagine, I couldn’t contain my excitement when they insisted on taking some pictures in the field!! AHH! Beautiful! As you scroll through this blog post- you’ll see how sweet, fun, and joyous Elsa and Carl are. I don’t think I ever stopped cheesing during the session or while editing their photos.
Once the sunset and the engagement session was over, they took me out to dinner (at one of my favorites restaurants Macados)! Their session was SO much fun, but so was sitting down and sharing stories! I loved hearing about their adventures in Japan and learning about their families. They can see Mount Fuji from their apartment. Can you imagine?! Elsa and I also went to the same college but missed each other by a year. I had fun hearing her share about her experience at Roanoke College.
Elsa and Carl- I will see you in a week!!! I cannot wait to see you two. I hope you had as much fun as I did during your session! See you soon!!!!
