Williamsburg Engagement Photos

Recently I’ve had the opportunity to travel outside of Charlottesville for engagement sessions and it has been a blessing. Last week I went to Blacksburg and Richmond. This week I traveled to Williamsburg! If you’ve been following me for a while you know that I love traveling and exploring new locations. Virginia’s beauty amazes me every session. All over Virginia are the cutest towns with hidden and well known beautiful locations. These Williamsburg engagement photos are some of the best! The location is one of my favorites I have been to. Despite tourists, there are is so much variety and places to go. The little spurts of people here and there isn’t an issue.

I hadn’t been to Williamsburg in YEARS. Thank you, Lauren and Bob, for bringing me out to your stunning town! I hope to be traveling down for more Williamsburg engagement photos in the future!! We didn’t just go to Colonial Williamsburg, we also went to some of the lookouts of the James River along the parkway. We started at Colonial Williamsburg with Lauren and Bob’s dog Echo. Echo is such a sweet girl. Lauren and Bob brought along their friend Amanda to help watch the dog during this location. Thank you, Amanda!!!!! Echo is getting old so we refrained from walking too much in the heat (it was almost 90 degrees y’all… I sweated my face off and these two didn’t even seem to sweat a single bit…).

Even though we only explored a little bit of Colonial Williamsburg, there was PLENTY of variety from brick buildings, to white fences, gardens, and gorgeous pathways. You guys… Lauren and Bob are such naturals in front of the camera. I wish I was this photogenic! Bob knows how to make Lauren laugh in the sweetest way. It just melts my heart. My cheeks hurt from editing all of these pictures. You’ll see what I mean…

After Colonial Williamsburg, we quickly went to Lauren and Bob’s home and dropped off Echo so she could stay in the AC. Lauren said that Bob really wanted to go to Colonial Williamsburg for their engagement session and Lauren really wanted to go along the James River so we compromised and spent time at both locations!!! The great thing about these locations was that they were super close together. Along the way to the James River, Lauren and I bonded over The Bachelor, The Office, and the Serial podcast (I’ve fallen in love with podcasts).

The pictures along the river will speak for themselves… STUNNING.

Get ready to scroll through LOTS of breathtaking images. Lauren and Bob, I cannot wait for your wedding in 2020!!!!! Thank you both!
