Jason and Devin’s Veritas Vineyard wedding was a testament to the power of love and a reminder to never lose sight of what a wedding is really about: marriage. Through the pockets of drizzle, we slipped outside for portraits and at times we had to pivot come up with a Plan B. Jason and Devin’s light-hearted spirit warmed my heart. I was extremely grateful they trusted me to document their day as it unfolded and didn’t doubt my direction when bringing them outside or finding pockets of luminous light inside.

This wedding at Veritas Vineyard was a classy and full of life celebration, with a romantic hazy view of Charlottesville’s vineyards. This wedding is sure to inspire couples getting married in the Spring, especially with the blooms from Willow Branch Flowers. The soft touches of yellow tastefully complimented the dusty blue.

2 months before my couples wed, I send out a questionnaire to my couples collecting details about their day. One of the questions I ask in the question is about what moments of their wedding they are most looking forward to! This helps me better capture their story from their perspective of what is most meaningful to them.

They answered, food, dancing, and candids with family and friends that they don’t get to see often! Their reception at Veritas Vineyard was a lively one to remember. Pure joy as everyone danced the night away and celebrated the newlyweds.
