Engagement Session at Lexington VA Wedding Venue

Big Spring Farm, a Lexington, VA wedding venue, was the perfect place to wander around during golden hour for Kimberlie and Andrew’s engagement session. Although it is the end of winter, even in March Big Spring Farm has beautiful locations for light-filled portraits with green fields that are perfect for romantic and celebratory portraits!

Kimberlie and Andrew’s engagement session was my first session of 2021! I couldn’t have asked for a better way to start my year. Kimberlie and I actually crossed paths in college a couple of years ago through an Economics course. It was great to reconnect and see where life has taken her (clearly pretty great- Andrew is super kind and loving)!

It’s an honor to document Kimberlie and Andrew’s bliss and love for each other! Their engagement session at the Lexington, VA wedding venue was what I think the perfect balance of joyful, romantic, and class portraits to represent this season of life to remember for the years to come! We started off near the peninsula at Big Spring for classic smiling portraits and then moved to the hill-top during golden hour where we continued taking joy-filled photos.

This is one of my favorite photos. Although it’s blurry, you can feel how happy they make each other!
