Irvine Estate Wedding | Best Mountain View Venue | Lexington, VA

Brittany and Nathan attended a wedding at Irvine Estate as guests in 2018 and absolutely fell in love with the mountain views. I had never been to Irvine Estate before, the sister venue to House Mountain Inn, but Brittany and Nathan gushed over how pretty it was. As I drove up the road, I was just totally taken back. Nathan was right, every direction was scenic and perfect!!!

It was only right that Brittany and Nathan tied the knot in the midst of the mountains. He proposed while hiking, we hiked to a mountain top for their engagement session, and now they said they committed to forever in front of stunning mountain views in Lexington, VA.

Brittany is like me and a total detail-oriented planner. Not a single thing was missed and every detail was thought of and beautifully planned for. I loved their dusty blue colors with slight touches of pink! All around were the perfect touches that made their ceremony and reception space personable and gorgeous. Fair warning, this is by far the largest blog post ever. My bride and grooms mean the world to me and I just went overboard with picking favorites. It’s so hard to choose favorite photos when you have such a joyful and gorgeous couple like Brittany and Nate in front of your camera!

Brittany and Nathan, if you can plan a wedding (and build a house) during a pandemic. You can handle everything else that life will throw at you!! Your family, friends, and wedding party were not only super fun but so welcoming! I loved that as soon as I walked into the bridal suite I was greeted with hugs and the warmest smiles. To know Brittany from crossing paths at JMU and to be able to photograph the wedding was truly an honor!!!

Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Lewis!! I can’t wait to see you again soon! Have fun on your mini-moon!

And of course, thank you to all the wonderful vendors! Jamie made the day effortless and everything went smoothly!

Brittany and Nathan wanted to share a last dance while their guests lined up for the sparkler exit. I think this needs to become a new tradition. I loved this.

You’ll be seeing more of these ladies. All three are my brides ❤️ This photo is so special to me!!! It was defintely very very special knowing a handful of the wedding guests and getting to see my couples celebrate together. All three of these sweet friends are teachers and have been working so hard to prepare their virtual/hybrid classrooms and working hard to adjust to teaching during a pandemic. SO much respect for them and navigating 2020 resiliently!

I can’t wait to recreate this photo at Scarlet’s wedding in October and Jordan’s wedding next July!

Thanks for everything Brittany and Nathan!!!! I can’t wait to send you the full wedding gallery and video!
