Rainy Wedding at Guildford Farm Wedding

These High School sweethearts can navigate any obstacle thrown their way- long distance, a pandemic, a rainy wedding day. Nothing can stop Abby and Thomas from loving each other wholeheartedly. After being in each other’s lives for 8 years, Abby and Thomas tied the knot at Guildford Farm not too far from where they both grew up. Their wedding was uniquely theirs with tons of personal touches throughout the whole day.

They wrote their vows together. Family helped put together the florals. Abby wore her mom’s necklace. A guest book that was a bench made by their aunt. Even Abby’s shoes had a personal meaning! At the end of the day what will always matter most to Abby and Thomas is their love for each other, family, and of course their cats.

The radar was daunting all day with little bits of rain here and there. We were all prepared for Plan B and even Plan C, but luck was on the side of the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. Jackson because the rain stopped right on time!!! Plus, thanks to the first look there were zero worries about the weather because we knew we had extra time for portraits in case of rain! First looks are so sweet and helped the day be totally stress-free.

I can’t wait to share their wedding day with you! This day has been in anticipation for A LONG TIME. We did their engagement photos over 2 years ago and I’ve been anxiously waiting to capture Thomas and Abby’s beautiful day at Guildford Farm! Abby and I swam together in high school. I thought about pulling out some old photos of us together but I think it’s for the best no one sees photos of me from back then hahaha! Abby and Thomas, thank you for putting all your trust in me! I never take photographing a wedding lightly and it’s always the biggest honor to capture a friend’s wedding.

If I were to do superlatives for each of my couples at the end of the year, Abby and Thomas would win the best first dance. Let me tell you, it was choreographed BEAUTIFULLY and followed by the most fun father-daughter dance.
