I am squealing over Kyle and Brooke’s mountain engagement session! Photographing an engagement session at Ravens Roost has been on my bucket list for a while and it totally exceeded my expectations!!! You can’t go wrong with this overlook along the Blue Ridge Parkway for engagement photos. Ravens Roost also pairs perfectly with Kyle and Brooke’s mountainous wedding venue in Harrisonburg which is great when thinking about printing out photos and hanging them on the wall!

Beforehand, Brooke and I were emailing back and forth about different outfits ideas. I love it when my couples reach out to me after I send them a style guide to make sure everything will photograph well. And THEN Brooke asked if they could bring Louie, their 12-week-old Golden Retriever for engagement photos. Ah! Do you see why I am squealing over this engagement session?! Wait until you see Louie. He is the CUTEST ball of FLUFF.
