My dreams came true! A wedding venue in the Blue Ridge Mountains with a mountain and vineyard view! You’re not going to believe that we had to wait over an hour in our car for a treacherous summer storm to pass.

90+ degrees, mid-day, and Andrew wore a suit the whole time,… When I say my AE Brides and Grooms are the BEST, I mean it. Two whole hours flew by and we didn’t even go to ever location- that’s how amazing Market at Grelen is! The wedding venue has ENDELSS variety for photos. The blooms are some of my favorite!

I am squealing over Kyle and Brooke’s mountain engagement session! Photographing an engagement session at Ravens Roost has been on my bucket list for a while and it totally exceeded my expectations!!! You can’t go wrong with this overlook along the Blue Ridge Parkway for engagement photos. Ravens Roost also pairs perfectly with Kyle and Brooke’s mountainous wedding venue in Harrisonburg which is great when thinking about printing out photos and hanging them on the wall!

When planning for their engagement session, Brittany had it all planned out perfectly! She wanted to do it somewhere special for them that meant out in the mountains (YAY)!!! Nathan proposed to Brittany while on a hike in front of a beautiful waterfall! I was ecstatic when she mentioned doing this little hike to the top of a mountain with a 360-degree view of mountains… Oh. My. I’ve always wanted to do an engagement session in the middle of the Blue Ridge mountains! The Blue Ridge Mountains were showing off for their engagement photos. You will see what I mean… it was BREATHTAKING.
