This Fall engagement session with Erin and Luke at Stone Tower Winery was everything I could ask for. I’m already counting down the days until their wedding in 2021 at King Family. If their wedding is anything like my time with them this evening, it’ll be one for the books.

A perfect early Fall in Lexington, VA at Big Spring Farm event was filled with white and sage florals, blue skies, and a perfect breeze. Shannon & Phillip tied the knot under gorgeous trees followed by epic sunset photos overlooking mountains.

You spend months (maybe even up to a year) working with your wedding planner to curate the perfect details. You have the best florals, beautiful centerpieces and tablescapes, your invitations match perfectly with your wedding colors… But your timeline doesn’t allow your photographer to photograph these special details 😰 YIKES. I kind of felt like I was living in the dreamiest and most joyous Hallmark movie. This wedding blog post is a MUST READ. I’m just going to leave it at that. Their story is one of my favorites.

Chris and Emily’s elopement screams Folklore vibes and I LOVE IT! Their day was magical and dreamy with tons of personal touches. Wait until you see Emily’s bouquet, you’re not going to believe that it was made by Chris’s mom!!!

My dreams came true! A wedding venue in the Blue Ridge Mountains with a mountain and vineyard view! You’re not going to believe that we had to wait over an hour in our car for a treacherous summer storm to pass.

90+ degrees, mid-day, and Andrew wore a suit the whole time,… When I say my AE Brides and Grooms are the BEST, I mean it. Two whole hours flew by and we didn’t even go to ever location- that’s how amazing Market at Grelen is! The wedding venue has ENDELSS variety for photos. The blooms are some of my favorite!

Photographing details like the invitation suite, rings, heirlooms, and florals is actually one of my favorite things. I think that the details give you a little peek into the bride and groom’s personality and capture the essence of the wedding day that is ahead! I LOVE getting to know my couples, laugh, have fun with the experience, and take portraits in a stress-free environment. Haylee and Jack’s Virginia engagement photos were exactly that- fun, relaxing, stress-free, and were able to just enjoy the experience!!! I already felt like I knew Haylee from our phone call and DMs on Instagram, and we all just clicked immediately!!

I am squealing over Kyle and Brooke’s mountain engagement session! Photographing an engagement session at Ravens Roost has been on my bucket list for a while and it totally exceeded my expectations!!! You can’t go wrong with this overlook along the Blue Ridge Parkway for engagement photos. Ravens Roost also pairs perfectly with Kyle and Brooke’s mountainous wedding venue in Harrisonburg which is great when thinking about printing out photos and hanging them on the wall!
